about

Knights of Nowhere's debut album "Carrabelle" is a riff-driven modern rock moment that doesn't try to hide its classic and 90's rock roots. "Carrabelle" is built on driving acoustic and electric guitar foundations accented with floating organ work, emotive guitar solos and poetic lyricism for the past, escape and the road.

Track Name: Burn
There was something there, in the April air,
Not quite satisfaction...
Possibility, deep inside of me,
Freedom of action.

Now I'm closed away, all my days are gray,
And I don't know the reason...
Just wish I could find a little summertime,
This icy season...

Chorus:
'cuz I got a fire in me,
Makes my head spin around,
I've gotta let it burn its own way,
...or burn me down.

I wanna run away, burn down a day,
Out on the highway,
Like we used to do, oh, me and you
When we had our way...

Where did that spirit go? Feel like I lost control,
Spinning in time,
Another day again, that never seems to end,
I had so much more in mind,

(Chorus)

Don't know if I can stay, can't be packed away,
Crammed in this place,
Ooo monotony is crushing me,
When I need space,

I guess my only home, is a right to roam,
Out on the shoals,
I gotta go somewhere, where I can breathe the air,
Feed my soul,

(Chorus)
Track Name: St. Teresa
I still feel the sun on my back, when it's dark and black,
I still hear the wind in my head, even when it's dead,
I feel somethin' callin' in my soul.

Chorus:
Oh, St. Teresa don't you know,
You're the only one can save my soul,
Headin' out from New Orleans today,
Ooo I gotta get away.

I've got this wandering disease, won't set me free,
Dissatisfaction in my mind: what might I find?
Some wayward love affair with the road...

Chorus:
Oh, St. Teresa don't you know,
You're the only one can save my soul,
Headin' out from New Orleans today,
Gotta find a better way.

(SOLO)

Oh, St. Teresa don't you know,
You're the only place that we can go,
Headin' out from New Orleans today,
Oh, I said

Yea, St. Teresa don't you know,
You're the only one can save my soul,
Headin' out from New Orleans today,
Gotta find a better way.
Track Name: Carrabelle
She said we're lost,
When she saw what a memory cost but
I'm not willing to pay the price of fading away...

Feels like color's draining, Adam sings of a night hours waning but
I can never seems to find those
Moments I lost...

I see the sky, but it's in black and white,
Another day that doesn't
Feel quite right...

I left her waiting beneath a bridge that's fading,
Slowly shimmering
Out of sight...

Prechorus:
and I may be a glint upon the water,
but I wish I had the brilliance of the sea...

Chorus:
Carrabelle,
Oh, Carrabelle
Carrabelle,
Oh, Carrabelle

My hours keep rolling, but there's no fire in my eye,
I just keep tumbling in this deja vu...

I found strength, when I knew what I could get,
But now it doesn't seem to fit, and I
pray I haven't lost it yet 'cuz

Prechorus:
and I may be a glint upon the water,
but I wish I had the brilliance of the sea...

Chorus:
Carrabelle,
Oh, Carrabelle
Carrabelle,
Oh, Carrabelle

(SOLO)

Prechorus:
ooo I may be a glint upon the water,
but I wish I had the brilliance of the sea...

Chorus:
Carrabelle,
Oh, Carrabelle
Carrabelle,
Oh, Carrabelle
Track Name: Tallahassee
I am a ghost of myself,
Or maybe I'm someone else,
I think I got left somewhere out on the road....

This is my past again,
That I'm livin' in,
But I'm alive. At least or so I'm told...

Chorus:
And I can feel you,
Driftin' away,
And I'm sliding,
Into those days,
And I'm lost,
Inside my head...
...in Tallahassee

I left something there,
that I can't find anywhere,
Seems like no one can remember anymore...

Like those years disappeared,
and I'm the only one who knows,
Those nights out on the flat North Florida roads...

Chorus:
And I can feel you,
Driftin' away,
And I'm sliding,
Into those days,
And I'm lost,
Inside my head...
...in Tallahassee

(SOLO)

Chorus:
And I can feel you,
Fading away,
And I'm sliding,
Into those days,
And I'm lost,
Inside my head...
...in Tallahassee
Track Name: Water
Days go on, and I'm waiting, dazing,
Its been so long, and I'm fading, hazy,

I just wanna see something better in me...
Take all this pain, n' set it free...set it free...

Chorus:
Like I need water for my soul,
To wash away this anger, ohh ho,
I'm dry and crumbling and I know,
I just need water for my soul...

I don't know if I can say that I'll come back,
I can't see where this future is leading me,

I just wanna be something better than me...
Take all this pain, set it free...set it free...

Chorus:
Like I need water for my soul,
To wash away this anger, ohh ho,
I'm dry and crumbling and I know,
You are the water for my soul...

Like I need water for my soul,
To wash away this anger, ohh ho,
I'm dry and crumbling and I know,
I just need water for my soul...
Track Name: Bittersweet
This sunset's not the one I wanna see,
Oh it's beautiful just not the one for me,
But I can't help and appreciate the view,
Even if it's nothing that I ever planned to do...

Chorus:
And honeyed though it is, still incomplete
It's a complex flavor:
Bittersweet.

It's the thick and heavy air of summertime,
The sweaty heat and bright light sunshine,
Ya know, it's sweet but also sour and serene,
And it leaves one feelin' somewhere in-between

Chorus:
And honeyed though it is, still incomplete
It's a complex flavor:
Bittersweet.

This night is deep and heavy and surreal,
Reflected moonlight's quiet and ideal,
Broken by the sound of a distant train,
Tonight's pretty, but it smells like rain...

Chorus:
And honeyed though it is, still incomplete
It's a complex flavor:
Bittersweet.

Yea honeyed though it is, still incomplete
It's a complex flavor:
Bittersweet...
Bittersweet...
Track Name: Lay It Down
She got eyes,
Those green eyes,
A sure ticket to mesmerize...

She got the lips, oh,
She got the hips,
She'll have you beggin' at her fingertips...

Chorus:
Lay your love,
Lay your love,
Down on me.

She doesn't lose,
Knows all the cues,
But she'll only shake it to rhythm and blues,

Yea she's got style and
She's got grace but she's
Not afraid to put you in your place,

Chorus:
Lay your love,
Lay your love,
Down on me.

She's tall. Wall-to-wall,
She's got enough to shame 'em all,
What I mean, you gonna see,
She's the sweetest strawberry in Tennessee,

Chorus:
Lay your love,
Lay your love,
Down on me.
Track Name: Peace
It feels good, like I never thought it would,
Since I was last broken,
I still have the scar, yea, it hasn't gone far but
Maybe it can be a token,

of what I've seen and I do believe,
When her hair falls down like this,
That I'm not so lost, and maybe the cost won't
yet outweigh the benefits...

Chorus:
And I think it's not worth givin' it up...ya know
Sometimes, a little sunshine is just enough
To bring me back from that attack,
When the gods came down and broke my back,
And maybe I can find some peace in that.

I haven't had much confidence since the incident,
But I can feel it comin' on,
Sometimes I'm still not sure what I'm fightin' for but I
Gotta keep movin' along, there might be a

crack in me but I do believe,
when you're with me like this
That I'm not so lost, and maybe the cost won't
yet outweigh the benefits...

Chorus:
And I think it's not worth givin' it up...ya know
Sometimes, the glimmer in your eyes is just enough
To bring me back from that attack,
When the gods came down and broke my back,
And maybe I can find some peace in that.

I like to fish on the shore, the only thing I like more,
Is a night spent with you,
I know it's been hard to deal while my wounds heal but you
know you're bringin' me through, an' I hope it's

clear to see that I do believe,
when you're with me like this
That I'm not so lost, and maybe the cost won't
yet outweigh the benefits...

Chorus:
And I think it's not worth givin' it up...ya know
Sometimes, lookin' in your eyes is just enough
To bring me back from that attack,
When the gods came down and broke my back,
And maybe I can find some peace in that.
